Hypnobabies Childbirth Hypnosis Doula (HCHD) is an active doula with
an officially recognized professional affiliation by another doula
organization. To become certified as an HCHD she has to attend an
8 hour Hypnobabies Hypno-doula course and complete a 17 page essay
exam on the use of medical hypnosis and how it works, the traditional
medical and media paradigms and how they affect birthing women, and
the tools and methods to support a woman and her partner/family in
