Breast Self Care
through Massage and Lymphdrainage
$10 per person
Breast Self Care is an important aspect of female health and it's
so easy to do. Bring your friends and daughters!
We start with an overview of the structure of the breast and its
physical structures. I follow this with a simple series of lymphdrainage
moves combined with massage, compression and manual expression to
move the fluids-lymph and blood- out of the breast. This is detoxifying,
promotes ligament support and reduces sag due to accumulated fluids.
Info on bras and how they contribute to and/or reduce breast health
will be shared. My handouts include where to get a good fitting,
supportive one locally and by internet order (if you choose to wear
one).
Infant
Massage Instruction
Public classes are $20 per family; private in-home classes may
also be arranged for $75 which includes an 8 ounce
bottle of Bindi Ayurvedic Baby Massage Oil and a copy of Vimala
McClure Schneider’s book Infant Massage: A Handbook for Loving
Parents.
This is an interactive class; so, please bring your non-crawling
baby, and a blanket, pillow or boppie. If you are awaiting your
precious arrival, please bring a doll. Handouts and small bottle
of Ayurvedic infant massage oil will be provided for use in class
and then to take home.
The class overview covers the benefits of infant massage to your
baby and you, types of oils/lotions that are good for baby, infant
cues, massage strokes and hand positions to remove stress. Then
we move into the interactive portion. By following the instructor's
cues and motions with the demo doll, you get hands-on experience
with your baby. We finish with Q & A and time for new families to
chat.
Surya
